On Friday, March 31st, 1995 in the afternoon, Benny Yonsi, Eighteen and a half years old was jogging from Rosh Hanikra south towards Nahariya.
One of the many Katyusha rockets fired that day from Lebanon hit him and killed him on spot.
The commemoration site is located on the western side of the road between Nahariya and Achziv, a road that is used mainly for army patrols.
