Attack's place

On Sunday March 3rd 1996 at 6:20 am a suicide bomber exploded a large bomb inside bus route 18 that was going from “Pat” Junction to the center of Jerusalem.

The explosion occurred in Yaffo Street near the “Generali” building.

19 people were killed and tens wounded.

This was the second suicide bombing of bus route 18 within a week. The previous occurred on February 25th almost at the same time and at the same place, 26 people were killed then .
