Attack's place

On Wednesday night, May 15th, 1997, around midnight, three Palestinians entered Shmulik Ben Baruch’s Taxi in Jerusalem and asked to go to Maale Adumim. They murdered him and threw his body into a hole in a banana orchard in Jericho and escaped with the taxi. The body was found only a day later after the killers were apprehended.

Shmulik, 45 years old, is commemorated by a sitting corner in the neighborhood in Jerusalem where we went on his last drive.
