On Monday morning, November, 20th, 2000, three Palestinian terrorists blew up a bomb near a bus taking children, teachers and others from Kfar Darom to the school in Gush Katif.
Eleven people were wounded, and two were killed -- 35-year-old Miri Amitai, who was on her way to work at the "Neve Dekalim" school, and Gavriel Biton, 34.

They are also commemorated at the memorial at the exit from Kefar Darom.
