On Monday, June 18th 2001, around noon time, Dani Yehuda, 35 years old and his neighbor and helper Alex Briskin, 17, were on their way from Savei Shomron to Homesh in Danni's car.
Near Nablus (Shchem) a yellow Palestinian taxi started slowly to overpass them, in the taxi there were two terrorists who opened automatic fire at Yehuda and Alex.
Alex was wounded, Yehuda was killed.
