On Tuesday January 22nd 2002 afternoon a terrorist opened fire on people walking in the center of Jerusalem at the corner of Jaffa and Cook streets.
He managed to shoot sixty rounds till killed by policemen.
Two women were badly wounded and later died.
Svetlana Sandler 55 years old died two days later.
Sara Hamburger 78 years olddied the next day.
On Sunday January 27th 2002 A female suicide bomber exploded at that same place killing another person.
This is one of two unique places in Jerusalem where there are two municipal memorial plates on the same spot.
