On Wednesday evening March 27 2002 a suicide bomber walked into “Park” hotel in Natanya and exploded. The hotel was filled with some 250 people that came to celebrate the Passover “Seder”.
30 people were killed and over a hundred wounded.
Yehudit Kurman, 70 years old died. Her husband Eliezer, 73 years old died on May 5th 2002.
They as well as the other 28 casualties were commemorated by the Kurmans Son and daughter in Ramat Hasharon, a city they were among its founders.
The monument symbolizes a mass grave in the shape of a hexagon and in it 30 basalt stones lighted in red and connected to each other with a metal cable, symbolizing the common fate.
The figure of the monument is pointing its arms to the sky screaming toward the sky.
The Monument was built with the contribution of the sculpture Yehuda Arbel (Alberman) from Karmiel.
