On July 26th 2002 near Zeef junction south of Kiriyat Arba in Hebron, terrorists opened fire from an ambush killing the soldier Elazar Leibovich, 21 years old who was driving in one car and three members of the Dickstein family, the father Joseph, 46 years old, his wife Hana, 44 years old and their son ShuvaEl, 9 years old who were in a second car.
The Dicksteins had 10 children, 9 were left orphins.
