On Sunday August 4th 2002 Shery was on her way to Zefat to register for her studies.
She was on board Egged bus route 361 that was going from Haifa to Zefat.
On board the bus was a suicide bomber with a big bomb. A
round 9 am at the Meiron junction bus stop the bomb exploded.
9 people were killed amongst them was shery, many were wounded.
Shery is commemorated in Karmiel in a playground facing a beautiful Galilee view with a butterfly monument.
