Center of city

On Thursday, June 3rd, 1948, Egyptian planes bombarded Rishon Lezion and hit the center of town. Twenty people were killed, many others were wounded.
In the center of Rishon LeZion, there stands a memorial on which the names of the fallen people are commemorated.
The memorial is unique since at its top there are three bombs and usually memorials do not contain such elements.
