On Saturday night, November 2nd 2001, Raz Mintz was the commander of a control point between Ofra and Beit El. Raz went to check an approaching car, shots were fired from the car, and raz, even though wearing a bullet proof vest was hit from the open side, he died after a few minutes and he is 19 years, seven months and twelve days old.

His family produced a CD in his memory, the CD is named “To sing you our heart”, it contains 14 songs that his brother wrote, composed and is singing (Raz’s friend wrote some of the words).
His family also created a web site in his memory.
