On Wednesday morning, February 14th, 2001 in the morning hours many were waiting in the bus stop at the Azoor junction. A terrorist from gaza driving a bus approached the bus stop turning his bus at the people waiting, running them over.
He then fled the scene to be caught later by the police on his way to Gaza.
Eight people were killed in the attack.
