On December 12th 2001, in the late afternoon, “Dan” service bus was going from Benei Brak to Emanuel. At the entrance to the city a side bomb exploded near the bus, the bus stopped and three terrorists who ambushed the bus opened fire at the bus, its passengers and cars that stopped after the bus.
Tens were wounded, nine people were killed.
