On Friday, June 28th 1991, Avi Osher,40 years old went to his work in the palm orchard of Moshav Masua in the Jordan valley, Avi was in charge for the Orchard.
He was stabbed and killed by one of his Palestinian workers with which Avi worked for 15 years, Avi considered his worker a friend and they visited each other homes.
Avi’s body was discovered in Masua vineyards where it was hidden by the murderer.
A memorial to Avi was erected in the regional council junction in the Jordan Valley.
