On March 15th, 2009, two policemen, master sergeant Hezi Ramzarkar, 50 years old and Senior sergeant David Rabinovitz , 42, were on routine patrol on Jordan valley road near Masua’a.
they stopped their vehicle to assist a car that stopped in the side of the road, the terrorists that faked a flat tire shot the two policemen from close range and escaped the scene.
The two policemen were killed.
