On Tuesday night, August 4th, 1998, Harel OZ Ben Noon , 20 years old and Shlomo Libman were patrolling around Yitzhar in Samaria. Terrorists opened fire from ambush killing the two.
Ein Oz is a spring west of Harel hill settlement in Samaria, the spring water comes out of a cave into two pools. In 2005 the spring area was renovated in memory of Harel Oz Ben Noon , Picnic tables and direction signs were added. Above the Spring Almond trees were planted.
