On Sunday morning, October 11th, 1953, Masoud Abutbol was shot and killed during his sleep. He was shot by infiltrators that came from Jordan.
Masoud was handling the Kibbutz Cows and was awaken early every morning by the night guards. That morning, they found the room locked from the inside and when they broke in they found Masoud shot. Masoud was 20 years old.
