On Hanukkah eve, December 1st 1991, Zvi Klein , 44 years old, drove from Jerusalem to his home in Ofra. In the center of El Beera near Ramallah, terrorists in a drive by car shot onto Zvi’s car. Zvi was badly hurt and another passenger was wounded. Zvi’s daughter Merav wasn’t hit and called for help, Zvi was evacuated to the Hospital but died two days later.
He was commemorated in a new neighborhood in Ofra, Givat Zvi and in a front emergency room in Kiriyat Arba near Henron.
