On January 1st, 2016, a terrorist, Israeli Arab, entered the “Simtah” bar in Tel Aviv shooting at the people in the bar. Two were killed, Alon Bakal who worked at the bar and Shimon Rouimi.
On his escape from the place the terrorist shot dead a taxi driver, an Israeli Arab from Lod.
The terrorist was discovered few days later in his village Araara, he was shot dead by the police.
In the Bar a commemoration corner was opened in memory of the two young men.
