On November 7th 1984 David Manos, 20 years old, disappeared. A year and half later on March 13th, 1986, his body was discovered in a cave near the village of Dir Baloot in Samaria. Security forces later captured the group of terrorists who kidnapped and strangled David.
A memorial was erected in his memory near Ben Gurion airport from the place he was kidnapped.
