On Saturday, December 21st, 1957, Bezalel Bobritzki, 22 years old and his girl friend went for a walk south of their Kibbutz, Gadot.
Near the Jordan river they stumbled over a terrorist that came from Syria, Bezalel shouted to his girlfriend to run and empty handed he fought with the armed terrorist. He used stones and what ever he could to delay the terrorist till his girl friend will be safe.

Eventually he was shot by the terrorist and was killed.
