Near Kibbutz Mefalsim

On Simchat Torah Holiday, October 7^th, 2023, Hamas terror organization opened war against the state of Israel.

In early morning hours after shooting thousands of missiles and rockets into Israel, thousands of Hamas Elite unit, Nuchba, invaded Israel by blowing hundreds of holes in the fence around Gaza. The terrorists invaded tens of Kibbutzim and cities near Gaza, Killing, murdering, raping, kidnapping and burning who ever came in their way.

At that same time, thousands of young Israelis were near Kibbutz Re-eim, in a music festival, Nova. The young Israelis came to be in the nature, dance and have good time.

As soon as the alarms sounded, and rockets started to fly over their heads many tried to fled and started to drive north.

At that time the whole road 232 north was filled with terrorists ambushing the cars and shooting every car that tried to go north.

The three young people in the car were also ambushed, Shachar , 28 years old was badly shot and the car flipped over, the two young women, Sharon, 29 years old and Oriyah, 26 years old, tried to run and hide but were shot by the Hamas terrorists, Eli, 42 years old, Sharon’s older brother who came to the rescue was also ambushed before he managed to find his sister and was killed not far from where his sister was.

Near Kibbutz Mefalsim, where they were killed the families planted four cypress trees in their memory.
