The settlement of Mishmar Hashlosha was named after three residents of Yavne'el, Moshe Zalman Ben-Sason (Luntz), Yehuda Eliowitz and Gedalyahu Geller, who walked from Beit Gan to Livne'el and were murdered on their way, on March 14, 1937, during the events of 1936-1939. On the thirtieth day after their deaths, the foundation of the workers' settlement named after them was laid. Over time, the settlement was annexed to Yavne'el and today is part of Yavne'el.
