On Sunday August 20th 1978 A bus with 21 EL-AL personnel of flight 016 that just arrived from New York to London, arrived at the Europe hotel on Oxford street in London.

While the bus passengers were disembarking two terrorists opened fire killing Irit Gidron and EL-AL sturdiest and another innocent by stander and wounding another sturdiest.

Irit was 29 years old.
