On Thursday, June 29th, 1978, a bomb exploded under the vegetable stand of the Haim family in the “Machne Yehuda” market in center Jerusalem. Shimon Haim, 23 years old, and his father were unloading cases and bringing them into the shop when the bomb exploded. Shimon was badly wounded and died shortly after.
