On Tuesday, On Purim and The Ramadan month, March 17th 1992, a terrorist from Gaza with a knife and a sword went on a killing spree in Jaffa. He met Ilanit Ochana and stabbed her to death. Abed El Karim rushed out trying to help her and was stabbed to death. Two more were wounded before the police shot the terrorist.
Abed El Karim was 46 years old, Ilanit was 19.
