On Thursday, September 20th, 2001, 26-year-old Sarit Amrani left her parents’ house in Kiryat Arba with her family after spending New Years together. They planned to go to their home in Nokdim. Minutes before they reached their house, at Tekoa junction, a car with Palestinian terrorists passed them and terrorists opened fire.
Sarit was killed and her husband Shai was wounded.
The children weren't hurt at all.
