On Sunday November 11th 2001 a neighbor alerted Aharon (Arale) Usishkin, Kefar Hess’ security manager, to check a suspect near the entrance to the Moshav.
Suddenly a Palestinian gunman came out from the bushes and shot Arale while in his car.
Arale was 50 years old.
