On February 25, 2002, the day before Purim, 65-year-old Avraham Fish left his work early to be able to get to the synagogue on time. Purim was one of Avraham's favorite holidays. He drove with his daughter Tamara, who was nine months pregnant, and his five-year-old granddaughter, Karen. His neighbor Aharon Gorov, aged 46, was also driving with them.
500 meters before the community of Nokdim, terrorists opened fire at the car.
Avraham and Aharon were killed on spot.
Tamara was wounded but her baby wasn't harmed, Karen wasn't hit at all.
