On February 18th 2002, Ahuva Emargi, 30 years old, was on her way back to her house in Ganei Tal in Gush katif. A Palestinian terrorist ambushed her and opened fire on her car near Kisufim junction.
Ahuva was hit and died from the shooting.
Ahuva was commemorated both on the road when the attack occured and also in a play ground in her settelment Ganei Tal
