On October 21st 2002 bus 841 went on route from Tveria to Tel Aviv.
In Wadi Ara, near Karkur junction a jeep loaded with explosives exploded near the bus killing 14 people wounding many others.
Eti Pesachov 19 years old and a soldier in the border police and Eilona Hanukaeiv 19 years old and a soldier in the armored forces were killed.
Both girls were commemorated in their neighborhood Givat Olga in a Square that was named after them.
