On Monday afternoon, Novemeber 18th, 2002, Esther Galia returned from her job in Jerusalem to her house in Kochav Hashachar. She drove alone. When her car passed the Rimonim junction, east of Ramallah, a terrorist shot a few bullets at the car and escaped.
Esther was badly wounded and her car went off the road.
She died in the hospital that evening.
