On Monday, February 26th, 2002, a terrorist equipped with a machine gun arrived at the Neve Yaakov Neighborhood and started shooting at everything in sight.
Galit Arbiv, 21 years old, a young police woman arrived at the site short time after the terrorist.
Galit and other policemen stormed the terrorist and killed him. During the operation Galit was hit and badly wounded, she died the next day at the Hadassah hospital.
