Attack's place

On Sunday, February 25th, 1996, in the morning, a suicide terrorist exploded on board bus 18 which was in Jaffa street in Jerusalem near the central station.

From the explosion all the passengers on the bus were hit as well as passengers on a close by bus and pedestrians near the bus.

24 people, including nine soldiers died. 
 
Masudi Amar, 58 years old, was on her way to work that day and was killed on spot.

A memorial in her memory was placed near the attack's place in Jaffa strret near the central station junction.
