On August 3rd, 2006, Second Lebanon war days, Amir Na’eem, 17 and a half years old, and his two friends, Muchamad Paur, 17 and Saneti Saneti, 19 were on their way to their homes in Tarshicha. A siren was sound when Rockets were fired from Lebanon. The three left the car to take cover in a nearby field, however before they reached the cover a rocket fell and killed the three.
A monument in their memory was erected on road 8833 leading from Tarshicha to Ein-Yaakov.
