On September 10th, 1938, during the Arab riots period of that year the electricity to Beer Tuvia was cut off. Beer Tuvia was the farthest settlement to the south at that time. A group of electricians and guards were sent to fix the problem.
On their way back they were attacked by a large Arab mob, two electricians and six of the guards were killed.
