On March 12th, 2002, Two Hezbollah terrorists crossed the border from Lebanon using a ladder that took them over the border fence. The two terrorists ambushed and opened fire on cars driving the main road from Kabri to Shlomi, a hundred meters north of the entrance to Kibbutz Mazuba.
The terrorists were dressed as IDF soldiers and were equipped with machine guns and hand grenades.
From the terrorists shooting ten people were wounded and six killed.
IDF forces that came to the scene killed the two terrorists.
