On March 12th, 2002, Yehudit Cohen, 33 years old was on her way back from her work at the Technion in Haifa. Two Hezbollah terrorists crossed the border from Lebanon using a ladder that took them over the border fence. The two terrorists opened fire on cars driving the main road from Kabri to Shlomi, a hundred meters north of the entrance to Kibbutz Mazuba.

The terrorists were dressed as IDF soldiers and were equipped with machine guns and hand grenades.

 

From the terrorists shooting ten people were wounded and six killed, amongst the dead, Yehudit Cohen.
IDF forces that came to the scene killed the two terrorists.
