On the morning of Wednesday October 17th 2001 The minister of tourism and member of the Knesset, retired general Rechavam Zeevi (Gandi), a leader of the Israeli right wing, a true lover of “Eretz Israel”, was assasined by Arab Terrorists in Jerusalem.
Rechavam was 75 years old.
