On September 4th 1938, Dr. Avraham Rozental, 63 years old, drove his car through the city of Ramle. Shots were fired at him and he was killed.
Dr. Rozental was a pioneer in psycho therapy and have built two institutions for psycho therapy, the only two in Eretz Israel at that time.
The period was known as the Big Arab rebellion 1936-1939 where Jews were attacked and killed daily on their home and in their work.
