On May 2nd 2004, Tali Hatuel, 33 years old and eight months pregnant and her four daughters, Hila, 10 years old, Hadar, 9, Roni, 6 and Meirav two years old went from their house in Gush Katif to a demonstration in Tel Aviv to protest against the disengagement.

On the way out from Gush Katif their car was ambushed by two Palestinian terrorists who opened fire. The car went off the road ad turned, the terrorists came closer and shot dead Tali and her four daughters.

In Ashkelon a Synagogue was built in thier memory.
