On April 1st, 2002, during the “Homat Magen” operation, Ofir Roth, 22 years old was in active service in Jerusalem.
A single bullet that Palestinian terrorists shot from Beit Lechem hit his heart and he was badly wounded, later in the Hospital he died from this wound.
