On January 13th, 2005 night, terrorists blew up the door separating the Palestinian and Israeli side of the Karni terminal at the entrance to Gaza strip. Right after the explosion the terrorists open fire into the Israeli side killing six people. Dror Gizri, one day before his 31st birthday ,a security man at the terminal was killed.
The terrorists were killed minutes later by IDF soldiers at the terminal.
Dror’s Mother is a volunteer in “Merkaz Chesed” in Sderot, in a clothing store supporting people in need. The place is a living memorial to her son Dror.
