"Zvi house" in Hulata

On Friday, Februay 1st, 1953, Fishermen members of Kibbutz Hulata went with their fishing boat to the Hula lake. When they didn’t return searches started and continued all night, next morning the boat was found on the Syrian side of the lake.
After coordination with the UN a boat left Hulata in it Zvi Goren, 33 years old and the regional commander with him was a UN officer, they went to check on the missing fishermen.

When approaching the Syrian side, fire was opened and Zvi was badly wounded, he was taken to Hospital but died on the way there.

The taken fishermen were returned the next day.
