Daniel, 4 years old, lived with his family in Kibbutz Nachal oz, close to the Gaza border. During operation “protective edge” the Kibbutz was attacked by mortar firing. The family and Daniel ran to the shelter, while on his way a mortar shell fell and Daniel was hit in his head, he was killed on spot.
On December 2014, a Torah was donated in the memory of the three kidnapped boys and Daniel’s to an Israeli air force base synagogue.
