Ashdot Yaakov water plant

On Monday, November 5th, 1962, Avraham Ben Dov, 62 years old was badly wounded from a single shot fired from Jordan.
He died the next day.

The memorial was built at the place he fell. Later and after the agreement between Israel and Jordan the area becae no man zone with no entry to both sides.
The memorial was moved into the water plant of the Kibbutz.

On the memorial is written:

A memorial to a friend
Avraham Ben Dov
Member of Kinneret group
Fell by the hands of enemy
While doing his work
Sending water to the fields
