On Friday afternoon, the first of Kislev 5776 (13.11.2015), the Litman family traveled from their home south toward Meitar, to celebrate Shabbat Chatan with Ariel, who was about to marry their eldest daughter Sarah Tahiya a few days later.
South of Otniel, terrorists opened fire on the vehicle. The gunfire killed Yaakov and his son Netanel, and the rest of the family was injured.
