On 20, October, 2015, Avraham Asher Chasno, 54 years old was on his way on road 60 between Otniel and Beit Chagai, south of Hebron, Due to stone throwing and burning tires on the road he had to stop his car. When he went out of his car he was deliberately hit by a Palestinian truck and died. The junction was renamed to be “Avraham Junction” after his death.
